What is data warehousing?
A Data Warehouse enables you to store all types
of data in one location. For example, you can store student assessment
data, student demographic data and class exam data all in one location.
In addition, all of this data can now relate to each other, which
enables you to create very powerful reports. For example, you can
see which students are doing poorly in any given subject area and
see all the demographic information on those particular students.
You can also track a group of students' performance over
time.
How do I get my data into DataDirector?
For the first major data cleaning and importing,
the Achieve! programmers will import your data.Achieve! is currently
developing a unique import tool that will allow for easy imports
and updates of virtually any data.
What data can I store in Data Director?
Virtually any data can be stored in the system
including: assessment, demographic,
program/intervention, professional development, credentialing, and
degree information.
